General Chen Jiongming’s “Commander’s Mansion” is situated on the east side of Boyue Street in Haicheng (i.e., opposite Haifeng Guest House). The main structure is a two-story building with five bays, facing south, surrounded by wing rooms on the east, west, and north sides, along with a two-story turret-style sentry post built separately on the east and west sides. The front of the main building has been developed into a courtyard garden, featuring a pointed-roof pavilion at its center. The total area covers 2,700 square meters. The Commander’s Mansion was built when Chen Jiongming served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Guangdong Army.

The “Commander’s Mansion” now serves as a venue for the local senior cadres’ activity center. Many younger people are unaware of the history behind this distinctive building.
