Former Site of the Dongjiang Prefecture Communist Party School

The Former Site of the Dongjiang Prefecture Communist Party School is a cultural heritage site protected by Haifeng County.

The Former Site of the Dongjiang Prefecture Communist Party School is located on the northern side of Haicheng Town, Haifeng County. Originally built during the Qing Dynasty as the Guanyin Hall, it features a traditional quadrangle layout with two courtyards in a front-and-back arrangement, covering a total area of 378 square meters.

In January 1928, the Dongjiang Prefecture Committee of the Communist Party of China established the Dongjiang Prefecture Communist Party School here to train party members. The school was housed within the Guanyin Hall, and its curriculum included subjects such as "Party Organizational Construction," "Overview of Peasant Movement Work," "Revolutionary Issues," and "Military Science." Comrades such as Lu Dingyi, Chen Chihua, and Korean friend Zhang Beixing once taught at the school.

In 1963, the Haifeng County People's Government designated it as a cultural heritage protection site.
