Huizhou Olympic Sports Stadium was the main venue for the 13th Provincial Games, hosting the opening ceremony as well as events such as athletics and tennis. The project covers a total area of 410,000 square meters and comprises nine individual structures: the main stadium, secondary sports field, tennis center, athlete registration area, public fitness plaza, parking lot, outdoor plaza, landscape drainage channels, and flood discharge box culverts. The total investment is approximately 900 million yuan. The main stadium is designed with the concept of a “Stage of Prosperity,” featuring architectural forms inspired by Lingnan Hakka enclosed houses and Hakka conical hats. It embodies themes of humanity, greenery, harmony, and local Huizhou cultural elements, becoming a new “Huizhou Hakka House.” The main building of the Olympic Sports Stadium has a total floor area of 66,000 square meters and can accommodate 40,000 spectators. It is a modern, energy-efficient stadium where the design and construction incorporate numerous leading domestic technologies, new materials, advanced techniques, and eco-friendly systems. The venue includes state-of-the-art systems for fire safety, integrated cabling, water supply and drainage, electrical works, ventilation and smoke extraction, and sports facilities.
