Fei'e Ridge Park

Fei'e Ridge Park is a cultural relics protection unit of Huizhou City.

Fei'e Ridge witnessed the history of the Eastern Expedition of the National Revolutionary Army, leaving behind the footprints of great figures and revolutionary leaders such as Sun Yat-sen and Zhou Enlai, as well as the valor and bloodshed of the soldiers fighting bravely in the campaign. It stands as an important relic of the National Revolutionary Army’s Eastern Expedition in Huizhou. To commemorate the Eastern Expedition and honor the great achievements of the revolutionary forebears, after the founding of New China, the Huizhou municipal government placed key emphasis on protecting the Eastern Expedition sites. Starting in the 1950s, a large number of trees and flowers were planted on Fei'e Ridge, which was subsequently turned into an urban park. In 1984, it was listed as a municipal cultural relics protection unit, and in 1989, the municipal government erected a group statue of the National Revolutionary Army soldiers from the Eastern Expedition on Fei'e Ridge and opened an exhibition room for Eastern Expedition historical materials in the Hill-Climbing Tower.
