The Tomb of Jiang Qian is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tomb of Jiang Qian is located in Baishadui Village, Xiaojinkou Subdistrict, Huizhou City. The tomb is quite large, measuring 12.6 meters in length and 7.6 meters in width. It was renovated in the 35th year of the Wanli reign during the Ming Dynasty (1607), with the tomb epitaph inscribed by Li Tao, the Surveillance Commissioner of Huguang and concurrently Censor-in-chief, and the tomb inscription composed by Zhou Guanghao, the Right Censor-in-chief of the Censorate. It was restored again in the 4th year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty (1799), with the horizontal plaque and couplet inscribed by Wu Minglang, an official of the rank of Zhongxian Daifu: the horizontal plaque reads “Achievements as if Condensed Fragrance,” and the couplet reads “A true dragon’s lair brings prosperity for a thousand years; picturesque waters and bright mountains ensure flourishing for ten thousand generations.” In front of the tomb stand a pair of stone pillar sentinels, with exquisitely carved stone lions on top—delicate and refined. The tomb site is located beside the ancient riverside road from Guangzhou to Huizhou. The magistrate of Boluo County once erected a protective stele behind the tomb. The tombstone, epitaph plaque, and tomb inscription are all well-preserved. According to the tomb inscription: Jiang Qian was a “native of Yin County, Zhejiang,” and “your ancestor was the late Song Dynasty Prime Minister Wen Zhong Gong, also known as Wanli.” At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, he migrated from Zhejiang to Guangdong and lived in seclusion on Mount Luofu. The inscription refers to Wen Zhong Gong as “one who did not spare his seven-foot body, but died heroically for the country with great generosity, his loyalty penetrating metal and stone, moving even ghosts and spirits.” “Bai Sha Gong (i.e., Jiang Qian) was his descendant,” “upholding ancestral virtues without being radical or vulgar, maintaining righteousness and not submitting to… at the peak of Mount Luoshan, shouldering the weight of moral principles, his poetry expressed a noble character and lofty integrity, continuing the true legacy of our ancestors.” After Jiang Qian’s passing, his son Yuanfu buried him at Baishadui.
