Delta Island

Also known as Triangle Island, Delta Island is China’s first privately owned island with legal property rights. Covering an area of sixteen hectares, it has long been famed in the South China Sea for its three wonders: “crystal-clear waters, uniquely shaped rocks, and fine soft sands.” It enjoys the reputation of being “China’s Maldives.” Without a winter season, it is a year-round seaside destination. Located directly south of Xunliao Bay, the island spans approximately 1 square kilometer. It boasts clear spring water, soft and pristine beaches, and numerous rock formations so distinct they require no imagination to name—earning it the title “Animal Rock Scenery Park.”

The island features three sparkling white-sand beaches, a crescent-shaped inner bay, and a natural stone sculpture park, covering a total area of about 22 hectares, of which approximately 16 hectares are land. It consists of two islands of different sizes, which are connected by a sandy beach during low tide. Lush green trees, hidden pavilions, and naturally formed rocks of various shapes create a vivid and whimsical landscape, resembling the legendary Penglai Fairy Island or a paradise on earth.

Triangle Island is like a paradise on the sea, with crystal-clear turquoise waters, snow-white beaches, a dazzling array of coral reefs beneath the waves, and a variety of animal-shaped rock formations that are strikingly lifelike.
