Jiulong Peak Stone Theater Stage

The Jiulong Peak Stone Theater Stage is a cultural relic protection unit of Huidong County.

The Jiulong Peak Stone Theater Stage is located on Jiulong Peak Mountain in Tan Village, Dalingshan Town, Huidong County. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty and renovated in the Qing Dynasty, it is one of the ancient structures in the Longfeng Ancestral Temple area. The stage faces the mountain, oriented west to east, and was constructed on a flat area of the hillside. Its base is 1.1 meters high and paved with wooden planks. It features a hip-and-gable roof with green glazed tile trimming. The structure is made of brick and wood, with a three-bay width and a square floor plan, measuring 9.7 meters on each side. There are four stone pillars at the front, with the two middle ones being square and the two side ones octagonal. Steps are built at the front. The front eaves are hung with a seal script sign reading “Stone Theater Stage.” It is currently well preserved.

In 1984, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Huidong County.
