Taiping Temple Jigong Hall

Taiping Temple Jigong Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

During the Second Revolutionary Civil War (Agrarian Revolutionary War), under the leadership of the Party, the people of Fengshun County were trained in peasant military forces by Comrade Li Mingguang, an instructor dispatched from the Whampoa Military Academy, at Taiping Temple. In 1928, they organized the people of Tangkeng area to form a group opposing imperialist aggression against China, actively engaging in anti-imperialist activities. Jigong Hall is situated on Hutou Mountain in the southern part of Fengshun County. Built in the early 21st century with donations from Buddhist devotees and overseas Chinese, the main hall features ancient-style architecture with cylindrical frameworks, red walls, blue tiles, double-eaved hip-and-gable roofs, upturned eaves with brackets, colorful beams and painted rafters, and a glazed tile roof.
