Jiuhé Kiln

Jiuhé Kiln is located in Jiuhé Village, Liuhuang Town, Fengshun County. It dates back to the Song Dynasty and was discovered in 1983. The site is divided into two parts: Upper Kiln and Lower Kiln, covering a total area of 12,000 square meters. The Upper Kiln features a dragon kiln with a remaining length of 9.8 meters and a width of 2.2 meters. The deposits contain a large number of ceramic fragments, including artifacts such as bottles, bowls, cups, plates, and basins. The porcelain is white and fine, with some pieces featuring impressed white designs, while others have plain white glaze. The village of Jiuhé got its name from the saying “of ten kilns, nine produce fine porcelain.”
