Belgrade Aviation Museum

The Aviation Museum is located in Belgrade and was established in 1957. The museum features a polygonal oval glass building and houses a collection of over 200 aircraft, which are situated on the open-air grounds near the museum. These include gliders, helicopters, and jet fighters.

Some of the aircraft models in the museum are the last remaining examples in the world, such as the Fiat G.50 fighter. The museum also has in its collection some American and NATO aircraft that were shot down. At any given time, about 50 aircraft are on display in the museum, including several rare models that are among the last of their kind in existence. In addition to aircraft, the collection includes 130 aviation engines, radar systems, rockets, and various other aeronautical equipment, along with more than 20,000 reference books and technical documents, as well as over 200,000 photographs.
