Pali Zoo

Pali Zoo was established in 1949 and covers an area of 10 hectares. It features animal enclosures and play areas for animals. Pali Zoo is a park for both animals and plants, not only housing various animals but also boasting a wide range of plant species. The zoo is home to over 270 species of trees and shrubs, some of which are rare in the country, including Lebanese cedar, giant sequoia, and larch. The most representative plant in the park is the English oak, which is over 120 years old.

Pali Zoo is home to at least 65 species of animals from both domestic and international regions, including monkeys, snakes, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, camels, lions, emus, ostriches, tarantulas, and more. The zoo has a special children's petting zoo and amusement area dedicated to kids, where parents can relax at the café, restaurants, or on benches while their children play. The zoo also features many flowers, ponds, and fountains, adding charm to the visit. Around 16,000 people visit Pali Zoo each year for sightseeing and leisure.
