St. Anne's Church

Attraction Introduction The church stands 22 meters high and 10 meters wide, built entirely of red brick, with as many as 33 different shapes of bricks used just for the exterior walls. The entire structure is symmetrically laid out with harmonious colors, resembling an exquisite pattern composed of lines and corner towers. It is said that during his eastern campaign, Napoleon passed by this place and was so impressed by the church’s exquisite beauty that he wanted to “carry it back to Paris in the palm of his hand.” With its complex structure, a main tower at the top, and several smaller spires surrounding it like stars encircling the moon, it is an extremely magnificent sight.
