The Klaipėda Clock Museum is one of the branches of the Lithuanian Art Museum, housing a large collection of clocks with unique appearances and mechanisms that are well worth seeing. The museum is suitable for both easily distracted children and highly educated physicists—in short, people of all ages and educational backgrounds will enjoy visiting, and the clock exhibits here are sure to leave a deep impression.

The history of the Klaipėda Clock Museum dates back to 1984, when it opened in the summer with the help of a well-known local collector. Although the initial collection was small, with many items borrowed from the Lithuanian Art Museum, it caused quite a sensation at the time and attracted many visitors. Since then, the museum has continued to grow, amassing an increasingly diverse collection of clocks of various styles, structures, mechanisms, and eras.

Today, all exhibits at the Klaipėda Clock Museum are displayed in five exhibition halls on the first floor, where visitors can explore clocks from the Renaissance period to the modern era. To enhance the experience and deepen understanding of clocks from different periods, each hall is themed with colors, curtains, and historical artifacts from the respective era, making it easier for visitors to remember the clocks from various times.
