Completed on November 16, 2003. It is the most spectacular among all stadiums. The roof is designed with a sloping structure, allowing ample sunlight inside. The VCI Porto Ring Road and Portugal's highway network both lead directly to the stadium. There are plenty of buses from Portugal’s major cities to Porto. The metro is also an excellent option to reach the stadium, as it is just a short walk from the Estádio do Dragão metro station (Antas). Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is only 15 km away, with direct buses to the city center.

Rated as a UEFA five-star stadium. The entire venue is surrounded by an open-air plaza. The plaza houses numerous departments and services dedicated to the stadium and the club. Beneath the plaza are parking facilities (2,300 spaces), the team’s training grounds, a press center (with its own TV channel), technical areas, a fitness club, a swimming pool, an entertainment street, and two rotating large screens.

Dragão Stadium has a capacity of 52,000 and cost €98.2 million for renovation alone, being completed on November 16, 2003. Despite its limited capacity, it is the most spectacular stadium in Portugal.

As one of Portugal’s five-star stadiums, Dragão Stadium also offers a first-class environment. The metro is the best way to get there, with the stadium just a short walk from the Estádio do Dragão metro station (Antas). The national airport is only 15 km away, and direct buses are available to the city center.
