Afonso•de•Albuquerque Square is a public square located in Lisbon's Belém district, in front of the Belém Palace, and is named after Afonso•de•Albuquerque (Afonso de Albuquerque).

Afonso•de•Albuquerque was a renowned Portuguese naval commander, known as the "Caesar of the East," the "Lion of the Seas," and the "Portuguese Mars." He achieved great military successes in the Persian Gulf and India, was made Duke of Goa, and the square was established in his honor to commemorate his contributions to Portugal. This beautiful green square covers an area of 1.6 hectares, featuring extensive greenery, as well as four artificial lakes and several sculptures. It offers one of the best views of the Belém Palace. The square also features a stunning monument in the Neo-Manueline style, topped with a bronze statue of Afonso•de•Albuquerque and adorned with bas-reliefs depicting scenes from his life.
