Edward VII Park is located in the heart of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, north of Avenida da Liberdade and Praça do Marquês de Pombal. Covering an area of 26 hectares, it is the second-largest park in Lisbon, after Monsanto Forest Park.

Originally named "Liberty Park," the park was renamed to its current name in 1903 when King Edward VII visited Portugal to strengthen the connection between Portugal and Spain. Stepping into Edward VII Park is like entering a world of greenery — lush everywhere, offering a strong visual impact and providing Lisbon with some of its freshest air. Within the park, you can find a sports complex built in 1932, serene lakes, lifelike sculptures, and lush vegetation. The park is divided into different zones, such as the Original Greenhouse, Tropical Greenhouse, and Sweet Greenhouse. In the Tropical Greenhouse, you can see plants that thrive in tropical climates, while the Sweet Greenhouse showcases a variety of cacti.

In 1930, a Green Museum was established within the park. This museum houses plants from the five continents of the world, with high-tech roof installations that regulate temperature and lighting to allow them to coexist harmoniously.
