Estádio da Luz
The Estádio da Luz is located in Lisbon, the capital of Spain, and is one of the largest football stadiums in Portugal. Its name originates from the founder of the Portuguese Sporting Club and it is a UEFA five-star stadium.
Completed and opened in 2003, the Estádio da Luz can accommodate 50,049 spectators for matches, with a peak capacity of 52,000. It has been used by UEFA as a neutral venue for European tournament finals, including the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup, among others. The stadium also served as a host venue during the 2004 UEFA European Championship held in Portugal, where a total of five matches took place. It attracted numerous football fans from around the world, and the intense matches had every spectator on the edge of their seats, filled with enthusiasm and excitement.
