The Copenhagen Amber Museum and its flagship store are located at the corner of the entrance to Nyhavn in Copenhagen. This building was constructed in 1606 and is one of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen. The first floor houses the elegant House of Amber amber shop, while the upper floors host the Amber Museum. This museum is an officially certified tourist attraction by the Danish Tourist Board, where visitors can not only admire a rich variety of precious amber but also purchase beautiful amber jewelry and gifts.

The House of Amber company was founded in 1933 and has been dedicated to crafting the magical and beautiful amber into dazzling, lifelong treasured jewelry artworks. House of Amber is currently one of the largest and oldest amber jewelry manufacturers in the world. In 1933, Einer Fehrn, driven by a deep passion for amber, established the first amber specialty store in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1962, his son Soren joined the company, subsequently collecting numerous rare and precious natural ambers from around the world and establishing his own museum.

At the Copenhagen Amber Museum, visitors can view art collections made of gold, silver, diamonds, and amber from Denmark and around the world. They can also see an amber cluster weighing 8.8 kilograms, which is said to be the largest amber cluster in the world.
