Former Site of the Office of the Communist Party of China Inner Mongolia Working Committee

The former site of the office of the Communist Party of China Inner Mongolia Working Committee is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, a classic red tourism destination, and a patriotic education base.

The former site of the office of the Inner Mongolia Communist Party Working Committee is located at No. 14 Xing’an North Road, Ulanhot City, Xing’an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The former site of the office of the Inner Mongolia Communist Party Working Committee faces south and is a two-story brick-and-tile structure with a raised roof. It covers an area of 2,356 square meters, with a floor space of 1,881.08 square meters, and is 11.7 meters high. Originally built in 1934, it served as the office building for the puppet Xing’an South Province and later the puppet Xing’an General Province.

The former site of the office of the Inner Mongolia Communist Party Working Committee, designated as an Important Revolutionary Site of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (No. 491), was announced by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee in May 2009 as a National Patriotic Education Demonstration Base.

In May 2013, the former site of the office of the Communist Party of China Inner Mongolia Working Committee was listed as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
