The Ximan Military District Office in Wangye Temple, the CPC Dongmengolian Working Committee, and the CPC Xing'an Provincial Working Committee, as provincial-level Party organizations in the Dongmengolian region during the national liberation war, actively mobilized the masses. They carried out campaigns for rent and interest reduction, settled accounts with local tyrants, and fought against bandits. Gradually, they took control of and reorganized ethnic armed forces, vigorously trained ethnic cadres, established democratic political power, and developed Party organizations. These efforts led to the creation of a solid Dongmengolian base area, making significant contributions to the ethnic liberation of Inner Mongolia and the victory of the Northeast Liberation War.
In September 1953, Ulanhot No. 2 Middle School was built on the site of the former Ximan Military District Office in Wangye Temple. In the early 1990s, with the expansion and renovation of the Ulanhot No. 2 Middle School campus, the former site of the Ximan Military District Office was demolished. The site is now part of the school playground.
