Lenin's Mausoleum

Lenin's Mausoleum is located in the center of Moscow's Red Square in Russia. It is built from red granite and black marble, giving it a solemn and dignified appearance. Lenin was a renowned Marxist, proletarian revolutionary, politician, theorist, founder of the Bolshevik Party, as well as the founder and first leader of the Soviet Union. He developed Marxism and formed the theory of Leninism. Marxists-Leninists refer to him as "the great teacher and leader of the world proletariat and working people."

Lenin passed away on January 21, 1924. To commemorate him, the Soviet government constructed Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow's Red Square and preserved his body using modern embalming techniques, placing it in a crystal coffin for public viewing. He is dressed in a yellow tunic, wearing a Red Banner Medal on his chest, covered with the former Soviet flag, with his face and hands illuminated by specially designed lighting that highlights their clarity and serenity. The upper level of the mausoleum serves as a reviewing stand, where leaders stand during important ceremonies to oversee events. Lenin's Mausoleum is open to the public every Wednesday and Thursday from 10–11 AM, and on Saturdays from 1–2 PM.
