The Baccarat Museum is a private museum located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, dedicated to the collection and display of crystal works. Open daily except Tuesdays, Sundays, and holidays, the museum offers free admission.

The museum is located within the storied private mansion—the Hôtel Marie-Laure de Noailles. In November 2003, this long-dormant historic building was revitalized by visionary designer Philippe Starck, welcoming its new owner—Baccarat. The former 3,000-square-meter Noailles estate was transformed into Baccarat’s headquarters, flagship store, exhibition museum, restaurant, and a multifunctional venue showcasing exquisite craftsmanship, becoming a true crystal palace.

Founded in 1764, Baccarat has become one of the world’s premier crystal brands over the centuries, renowned for its flawless design, superior craftsmanship, and exceptional artistry. Starck’s brilliant design breathed new life into the soul and spirit of the historic mansion, leaving visitors awestruck by the magic and grandeur of this crystal palace. The museum displays some of Baccarat’s most refined creations: lifestyle art, jewelry, accessories, and other legendary pieces.

Among them, the showcase titled “Beyond Transparency” features works under four themes: “Distant Legends,” “Designers,” “Celebrities,” and “Delicacy & Lightness,” showcasing Baccarat’s unique techniques across various domains. These legendary pieces, which have won awards at international exhibitions, demonstrate the full spectrum of artisan skills through cutting, wheel engraving, glazing, and gilding. There are also limited-edition products designed by renowned designers, which have received high praise from numerous heads of state, royalty, and international celebrities.
