The “Paris Shopping Season Shopping By Paris” event started in December and runs until the end of February 2012. It’s a great time to explore the fashion capital. Aside from special discounts not usually offered, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau (Office du Tourisme et des Congrès de Paris) has specially planned six designer brand shopping routes representing different fashion styles: Select (Sélect), Trendy (Trendy), Creative (Créatif), Boho Chic (Bobo Chic), and Ethnic (Ethic-Ethnic). The public can browse the Paris Shopping Book online, where each route features recommended stores and addresses, allowing you to plan your ideal shopping itinerary.

Now in its sixth edition, the Paris Shopping Season offers not only discounts on clothing and luxury goods, but also special deals through over 174 partner hotels in the area, including Bed & Breakfast and furnished rental options. Restaurant Flo is offering a 10% discount plus a complimentary aperitif. Some shows at the famous Paris Lido cabaret are also discounted. Additionally, the Paris Museum Pass allows entry to over 60 attractions and museums in Paris and the surrounding region. Buy two passes and get an 8 euro discount. The promotion runs from January 11 to 18, 2012.
