This year, The Regent Taipei has brought the charm of the Champs-Élysées to the streets of Taipei, authentically recreating the multifaceted Parisian feast, allowing the public to enjoy French delicacies without crossing the ocean.

Whether it’s the treasures of the Louvre, Michelin-starred cuisine, or high-end fashion, what makes Paris so enchanting, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable is that every corner on its streets holds a surprise. The stylish and artistic Champs-Élysées is an essential street to visit in Paris. In the blossoming month of May, the romantic and beautiful streets of Paris will come alive at The Regent Taipei, making you feel as if you’re strolling along the charming Champs-Élysées. It will be a unique feast for the eyes, taste, and senses.

To celebrate the official opening of The Regent Taipei, from May 21 to May 23, the hotel’s entrance street will be transformed into the Parisian Champs-Élysées. Guests can leisurely sit at a French-style outdoor café, order a carefully selected French coffee, paired with exquisitely made cakes using premium ingredients, and croissants made with imported French butter; or enjoy a crêpe while browsing old book stalls reminiscent of those by the Seine, retracing Hemingway’s footsteps in Paris.

On The Regent Taipei’s Champs-Élysées, synchronized street performances with Paris will take place: street magicians weaving through the crowd, delightful little tricks awakening carefree childlike wonder; the joyful melodies of the accordion composing romantic street love songs, and street sketches capturing the beautiful essence of Paris. On weekends, why not visit The Regent Taipei to experience authentic French street flair?

The Regent Taipei supports community welfare, and all proceeds from this opening outdoor event will be donated in full to the Heart’s Home Foundation. Every transaction made by the public on the entrance street during the event period will be fully donated to the Heart’s Home Foundation, with daily earnings collected by the foundation after the events. The French Tourism Development Agency has also donated 50 limited-edition, exquisitely designed French-themed posters airlifted from France for charity sale, and the French Chamber of Commerce has contributed second-hand French books and magazines to complement The Regent Taipei’s charity event.
