The Peninsula Paris makes a dazzling debut at London’s Harrods!

Two global icons of luxury and prestige shine brilliantly together this early autumn. To celebrate the grand opening of The Peninsula Paris, The Peninsula Hotels has joined forces for the first time with London’s leading department store, Harrods,from September 2 to October 7 this year, The Peninsula Paris will unveil a themed window display at Harrods, followed bythe showcase of The Peninsula Paris imagery on large digital screens near various entrances and escalators at Harrods from October 1 to October 28.

 

The Harrods window facing Hans Crescent will feature a stunning nighttime view of The Peninsula Paris, accompanied by six electronic screens displaying glamorous images of the hotel.

At the same time, while admiring the unique window designs, the public can also scan the QR codes on the windows to access fascinating details about the hotel and learn more about the “Harrods Loves The Peninsula Paris” accommodation package. This special offer is available for bookings madeduring the window display period (September 2 to October 7), for stays at The Peninsula Paris from October 1 to December 30, 2014. Guests can enjoy a 15% discount on room rates, guaranteed room upgrades, and a complimentary serving of the hotel’s legendary Peninsula Afternoon Tea for two in the lobby lounge.

Mr. David Cheng, Vice President of Marketing at The Peninsula Hotels, said: “This is the first time our group has incorporated window displays into our marketing strategy. Through this innovative and interactive approach, we aim to introduce the craftsmanship and grandeur of the newly opened The Peninsula Paris to the public. The handcrafted crystal leaf decorations in the window are a miniature version of the ‘Dancing Leaves’ installation in the hotel lobby, which is also one of the key thematic elements in the hotel’s interior design.” He added, “The Peninsula Paris is our group’s first venture into Europe.
