Milad Tower

Milad Tower (also known as Borj-e Milad) is located in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is the tallest building in Iran, as well as the tallest concrete tower in the Middle East, the second tallest in Asia, and the sixth tallest in the world. This telecommunications and tourism tower stands 315 meters tall, reaching 435 meters including its antenna, and has 12 floors. The three-story base serves as a tourist center, while the top floor houses an upscale restaurant, making it the best spot to enjoy a panoramic view of Tehran.

The architectural design of Milad Tower is inspired by Islamic art and blends traditional and modern styles, adorned with intricate abstract patterns. In other words, the tower has an octagonal base symbolizing traditional Iranian architecture. The structure consists of five main parts: the foundation, the transitional (lobby) structure, the shaft, the top structure, and the antenna mast (for television and telecommunications). The entire tower is a 315-meter-high concrete shaft with three distinct sides, featuring six elevators that transport visitors to the top at a speed of seven meters per second.

Milad Tower primarily comprises four main sections: the telecommunications and TV tower, a conference and seminar center, a renowned international five-star hotel, and an international trade and convention center. This skyscraper complex integrates commerce, telecommunications technology, and supporting facilities, providing Tehran with state-of-the-art modern infrastructure to meet the business demands of the 21st century.
