Cave rooms and pebble-shaped windows – Iran’s eye-catching mod primitive-style hotel

More and more tourism operators are attracting travelers’ attention with uniquely designed hotels, such as this one located in Iran.Barin Ski ResortSituated in the Alborz Mountains, just an hour’s drive from the capital city of Tehran, its streamlined exterior is highly eye-catching.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail,this hotel takes inspiration from the domed igloos of the polar regions, but was designed by a local Tehran-based architectural studio. Its cave-like rooms and pebble-shaped windows give off a definite mod primitive vibe.

The ten-story building houses 67 suites, and thanks to the design, natural light floods in easily. Each guest room features a sliding glass door on the balcony, a TV, a pod chair, a kitchenette, and more.

The architects stated that the architectural concept was based on integrating with the landscape, creating a harmonious interplay.
