Come to Xinxing in Taichung to see golden hillsides — two months only of blooming daylily fields

Starting in May, daylilies in certain parts of Taiwan begin to slowly bloom. Not only in Hualien-Taitung and Chiayi, but also in Xinxing, Taichung, there are vast fields of blooming daylilies. The season has now arrived, and from now until July, you can admire this golden carpet spread across the green land in Xinxing.

Mu Xin Quan Leisure Farm in Taichung is located on a mountain at an altitude of 600–900 meters, covering more than 8 hectares. In addition to offering views of the Greater Taichung area, the ever-changing seasons mean that no matter when you visit in spring, summer, autumn or winter, you can admire vast seas of flowers.

Starting in May, large swaths of daylilies begin to bloom along the hillsides. With the undulating terrain, they form a beautiful golden floral carpet. Towering ancient trees and viewing platforms stand among the flower seas, creating scenic spots of their own. Each angle offers its own unique beauty.

Aside from flower viewing, Mu Xin Quan Leisure Farm also offers camping grounds, allowing visitors to sleep amidst the mountain forests and flower seas, stargaze at night, and head to the viewing platform in the early morning to watch the sunrise rising in the east. As camping activities grow increasingly popular, this is a highly recommended spot in Taichung for both camping and flower appreciation.
