The official name of Ampang is "Ampang Jaya," located in Selangor, Malaysia, to the east of Kuala Lumpur. It is one of the cities in Malaysia with a relatively high forest coverage rate, reaching 50.7%. Everywhere is lush green, full of vitality and energy.

Ampang has several leisure and entertainment gardens, such as Kampung Hulu Garden, Cheras Garden, Chempaka Garden, Kasuma Garden, Pandan Jaya, and Pandan Linda, where colorful gardens can cleanse the soul. The city’s well-known religious site is the Ampang South Heavenly Palace Jiuhuangye Temple. A major temple fair is held annually from the evening of the 29th day of the eighth lunar month to the evening of the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, with the 29th evening's deity-receiving ceremony and the ninth evening's fire-walking ritual being the two highlights of the nine-day event. The city can be considered the West Malaysian city with the highest concentration of Koreans, gathered in Korea Town. It is named Korea Town because it houses numerous shops run by Koreans, where you can enjoy the most authentic traditional Korean cuisine.

Ampang is known as the "hometown of soybean paste-stuffed tofu" because its homemade soybean paste-stuffed tofu is famous throughout Malaysia. If you visit here, you must not miss this delicious dish.
