Tired of the same old golf courses in Taiwan? Or struggling to find opponents to hone your skills with? The World Amateur Individual Golf Championship (WAITGC) can make your dreams come true. Just pay the registration fee, and everything will be taken care of for you, including domestic accommodation and transportation, airport transfers, welcome and award ceremonies, allowing you not only to showcase your golfing skills in Malaysia but also to enjoy VIP treatment and services akin to those of professional players.

Malaysia boasts 207 golf courses scattered across highland hills, tropical islands, coastal shores, pristine rainforests, and modern urban centers, offering a wide variety of challenges!(Image provided by Tourism Malaysia)

Any player with a USGA handicap index of 18 or below (24 or below for female players) can freely form a team to participate. The WAITGC tournament, which covers all of Malaysia, consists of seven legs starting from March to September, one per month, held at selected featured courses in Selangor, Sabah, Johor, Sarawak, Malacca, and Kuala Lumpur. The public can freely choose which qualifying event to join, with the top five teams from each of the first six legs invited to compete in the final championship battle.

Those interested in registering should directly contact the organizing committee to confirm details such as match schedules, accommodations, and other relevant tournament information. For WAITGC participation details, please visit: www.ewaitgc.com.

Additionally, the “2012 Maybank Malaysian Open Golf Championship” will be held from April 12 to 15 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, making it a great opportunity to watch world-class golfers showcase their skills and explore the cityscape of Malaysia’s capital.
