The crystal-clear lake water, mirroring the sky like a vast mirror, creates a stunning spectacle known as a "sky mirror," giving the illusion of being in a fairyland. Here’s a list of seven sky mirrors around the world, including one attraction in Taiwan.

1. Malaysia – Sasaran
Located off the coast near the fishing village of Sasaran, close to Kuala Selangor, this spot boasts a sky mirror phenomenon comparable to South America’s Salar de Uyuni. During the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, when the tide recedes significantly, shallow sandy beaches emerge from the sea, creating an endless horizon that blurs the line between sky and earth. This unique spectacle has made this mysterious island a popular tourist destination.

2. Japan – Tottori Sand Dunes
The Tottori Sand Dunes, located along the coast of Tottori City, stretch 16 kilometers long, with the tallest dunes reaching about 90 meters in height. Part of the San'in Kaigan National Park’s specially protected area, they are Japan’s largest tourist sand dunes. The dune shoreline and puddles in between create a mirror-like beauty, while in winter, they turn pure white under a blanket of snow.

3. Japan – Fukiagehama Coast
The Fukiagehama Coast in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, features a one-kilometer shoreline where a mirror-like lagoon appears during low tide. The sky reflects beautifully on the water’s surface, enhanced by the glow of the setting sun for a truly enchanting view.
