The Night Safari is divided into eight geographical zones. Visitors can take a guided tram ride along two loops for a 45-minute close-up wildlife encounter. There are also three walking trails meandering through the rainforest—the Fishing Cat Trail, Leopard Trail, and Wallaby Trail—that allow you to get closer to animals that are not easily spotted from the tram, such as the slow loris and tarsier. In addition, the park preserves some of the last remaining tropical rainforests in Singapore. Walking along the Leopard Trail, visitors can see over a hundred species of native plants, some of which are over a hundred years old. Highlights

Creatures of the Night Show: This show is held nightly at the open-air circular theater within the park. The performance is innovative, using stage lighting and sound effects to present the natural nocturnal behaviors of animals in an entertaining way. Animals featured include the puma, binturong, oriental small-clawed otter, and reticulated python.

Show times: 20:00, 21:00, and 22:00 daily (subject to weather conditions).

There is also a cultural performance by the Borneo “Thumbuakar” tribe (daily at 19:00, 20:30, and 21:30).

It is the world’s first nocturnal zoo, set within 40 hectares of secondary rainforest. The Night Safari is home to 130 species of animals, 35% of which are threatened. Under special moon-like lighting, you can observe these night-dwelling creatures in their expansive natural habitats.

There are two restaurants and a gift shop at the entrance of the zoo.
