The Super Sale Singapore event is here—international luxury brands up to 70% off!

The “2010 Singapore Sale” will run from May 28 to July 25, spanning eight weeks. Themed “Spoil Yourself,” this year’s event offers amazing discounts from major shopping malls, fashion brands, and tourist attractions across Orchard Road to Marina Bay. To enhance the shopping experience, the sale includes special evening shopping hours. Many malls, from the fashion haven of Orchard Road to Marina Bay, will extend their opening hours until 11 PM on weekends for extended retail therapy. Additionally, “GET SINGAPORE,” featuring 37 local Singaporean brands, will make its debut. These unique items are perfect for international fashion shoppers, and with attractive promotions, now is the best time to shop.

During the sale period, travelers can download the “Traveler Privilege Card” from the official Singapore Sale website and present their passport to enjoy additional benefits. These include special offers from six shopping malls: ION Orchard, Paragon, TANGS, DFS Galleria, John Little, and Robertson. For example, spend S$2,000 (approx. NT$45,000) in a single day at ION Orchard to receive a limousine airport transfer service, or spend S$1,500 (approx. NT$33,750) at Paragon to get a bottle of Burberry London Special Edition perfume.

With the Traveler Privilege Card, accumulate three receipts totaling S$300 (approx. NT$6,750) in a single day during the event period, and you can exchange them at the Singapore Visitor Centre on Orchard Road for a limited-edition “Singapore Sale Fashion Shopping Bag” and a S$15 taxi voucher. Mastercard is also offering a series of shopping promotions during the Singapore Sale, including a S$30 taxi voucher when you spend S$300 or more.

The recent opening of Resorts World Sentosa has added another highlight to Singapore tourism. At the “2010 Taipei International Travel Fair,” three travel agencies—Southeast, Shin Tai, and Tian Qing—jointly launched special packages for the Singapore Sale and Resorts World Sentosa. A 3-night, 4-day free-and-easy trip starts from NT$13,500. Travelers who purchase Singapore packages will receive an exclusive Charles & Keith shoulder bag or a Singapore Lion Mascot. The Singapore Tourism Board is also giving out 1,000 limited-edition Merlion keychains—just bring a clipping from the exhibition advertisement to claim yours.
