Singapore Airlines announced that it has signed an agreement with Formula One Group, officially becoming the title sponsor of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. This year’s race is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 21 on the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.

Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong said he hopes to support the development of sports and tourism in Singapore by sponsoring the F1 Singapore Grand Prix.
Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of Formula One Group, also stated that the Singapore Grand Prix is the only night race on the F1 calendar and welcomed Singapore Airlines to the F1 family.
