Established in 1988, Bukit Batok Nature Park is covered with lush trees that create picturesque forest scenery. Its winding trails and ancient durian trees, which have stood for hundreds of years, have long been popular among visitors. These features provide convenience for nature lovers and runners, who can enjoy the full beauty of the park along the paths.

During World War II, the natural park was used as a burial site for Japanese soldiers who lost their lives. Today, remnants such as two remaining pillars, an electricity transmission tower, and 120 cement steps serve as evidence of this history. Later, the area was developed into a park and opened to the public. The serene green pond nestled at the foot of the cliff, a remnant from the mining era, adds tranquility to the landscape. The park’s dense groves of durian trees attract numerous visitors, especially during the fruit's ripening season. Countless birds make their home in Bukit Batok Nature Park, singing happily every day and living joyfully. Playful monkeys can also be spotted roaming around the park from time to time. In addition, there is a dedicated children’s playground and picnic area, making it a perfect destination for family outings.
