Southern Ridges
The Southern Ridges isn’t the towering mountain range we might imagine, but rather a 9-kilometer walking trail built for scenic enjoyment. It connects Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, and Kent Ridge Park, forming a historically significant area that nurtures some of nature’s most precious flora and fauna.
The Southern Ridges has been praised as a necklace that strings together hidden “gems,” polishing them to reveal their brilliance. Indeed, the attractions connected by the Southern Ridges are all unique, including city views, public housing estates, and vistas of the southern seas—an extraordinary sight in the world that inspires awe. The Southern Ridges consists of eight trails: the Marang Trail, Mount Faber Park Trail, Henderson Waves, the Summit Trail, the Forest Walk, the Alexander Arch, the Flower Field Walk, and the Canopy Walk, each with its own distinctive character. You can choose any one of them to explore.
