National Biological Resources Center

The National Biological Resources Center is located at 42, Laneji-ro, Seo District, Incheon Metropolitan City, South Korea. It serves as the national institution for the collection and research of biological resources in Korea. Opened in October 2007, it aims to become the hub of biological resources in Northeast Asia and is equipped with the largest collection facility in East Asia. It is a great place to learn about biological resources.

The National Biological Resources Center features various areas such as exhibition rooms, an experience learning hall, a Jeju-specific forest, an ecology hall, a wild garden, an outdoor stage, and lawns. It houses a total of 3,905 specimens of 1,287 species of organisms and native species, recreating the changing processes of forests, rivers, and lakes. In addition, the lawn area in front of the exhibition hall is also popular, making it a great spot for a picnic with snacks during spring and autumn.
