Check-in → Exit customs in just 30 minutes！ Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2 to open in January next year

Incheon International Airport in South Korea has announced that, in order to accommodate the increasing number of passengers each year and to welcome the upcoming 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Terminal 2 will officially begin operations on January 18 next year. It will offer a variety of convenient facilities, allowing passengers to clear customs smoothly in just 30 minutes.

The highlight of Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2 is the expanded areas for check-in, customs clearance, and other procedures. It will feature self-service check-in and baggage drop counters, as well as new ultrasonic virtual reality security screening machines. These various convenient services will speed up the customs process, allowing passengers to complete everything from check-in to clearance in just 30 minutes.

For external transportation, Terminal 2 also features a dedicated transport area, including access to railways, buses, and parking lots, making it convenient for passengers to choose their preferred mode of transport into the city. The airport express line will also be adjusted to coincide with the opening of Terminal 2, with the Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station officially opening on January 13, 2018.

After the opening of Terminal 2, Korean Air will officially relocate, handling all arrivals and departures there. Other airlines using this terminal will include Air France, KLM, and Delta Air Lines.
