Now, when traveling to Seoul, South Korea, you no longer have to go through this trouble. Incheon Airport offers a “luggage direct-to-hotel” service that allows travelers to easily shed their heavy bags and start their trip the moment they land.

Next to the Incheon Airport Railway, the “SAFEX” counter provides a “luggage direct delivery” service. Whether you want to send your luggage from Incheon Airport to your hotel or from your hotel to the airport, as long as your accommodation is located near popular Seoul subway stations such as Seoul Station, Myeongdong Station, Hongdae Station, or Dongdaemun Station, SAFEX can offer travelers a convenient and stress-free experience.

And if you’re staying at a guesthouse or hostel instead of a hotel, don’t worry—as long as you have a clear address and someone at the front desk or the owner who can receive the luggage, you can still enjoy the service. However, if your accommodation is outside the service area, you can choose to have your luggage delivered to a major subway station that is within the service range. Then, during your transit time, you can pick up your luggage from the designated subway station before heading to your accommodation, saving you a lot of time.

However, SAFEX currently only collects luggage once a day, and if you miss the luggage drop-off deadline, your luggage may not arrive until the next day. SAFEX now uses online or app-based reservations, and travelers who wish to use the luggage direct-to-airport service should also pay close attention to their flight schedules to avoid missing the cutoff.
