Rapeseed flowers in full bloom create desktop-worthy scenery on Brown Boulevard, now carpeted in golden blooms

Taiwan’s well-known tourist attractions Brown Boulevard and Heaven’s Road have recently been covered with a golden-yellow floral carpet, presenting a breathtaking view reminiscent of a computer desktop wallpaper. From December to February each year, farmers in Chishang take a break from planting, which also marks the season for rapeseed flowers. The main area is located along both sides of Brown Boulevard, where the straight road paired with the iconic Jin Cheng Wu Tree makes for one of Taitung’s representative sights.
