Eastar Jet and Jin Air to launch Taoyuan–Incheon flights in March   Round-trip fares start under NT$5,000

Travelers heading to Seoul, South Korea, will soon have a new budget-friendly option. Two major low-cost carriers in Korea, Eastar Jet and Jin Air, plan to launch Taoyuan–Incheon routes starting in March, with estimated round-trip fares (including taxes and fees) as low as under NT$5,000.

Jin Air (Jin Air) will be the first to launch flights on March 24, offering one daily round-trip flight, departingTaoyuan at 10:20 AM and arriving in Incheon at 1:50 PM. The return flight departs Incheon at 7:50 AM and arrives in Taoyuan at 9:20 AM,with an estimated lowest round-trip fare (including taxes and fees) of 246,000 KRW (approximately NT$7,030).

Eastar Jet (EASTAR’JET) is expected to begin flights on March 28, operating one direct round-trip flight each Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Flights will depart Taoyuan at 10:30 AM and arrive in Incheon at 1:55 PM, while the return flight leaves Incheon at 7:30 AM and arrives in Taoyuan at 9:10 AM,with an estimated lowest round-trip fare (including taxes and fees) of 163,900 KRW (approximately NT$4,700).

These airlines have not yet announced ticket sales in Taiwan. Currently, the Korean websites only allow customers to purchase one-way Incheon–Taoyuan tickets, but once officially launched, they will offer travelers a new way to visit South Korea.
