The Han River Citizens' Park is located near the main Olympic competition venues and features a full range of large-scale sports and recreational facilities, making it highly popular among visitors. Established under the 1980s Han River Comprehensive Development Plan, the park spans a total area of 2.1 million square meters and offers various sports and rest facilities. In the summer, you can enjoy the riverside scenery while sunbathing in the open-air swimming pool and take part in recreational activities such as skateboarding.

The Han River Citizens' Park has dedicated bicycle lanes that allow you to cycle while taking in the beautiful views of the Han River. This not only provides exercise benefits but also offers scenic enjoyment along the river — a perfect win-win. At night, the neon lights along both banks of the Han River and across the city, as well as the lights from passing vehicles, create a mesmerizing atmosphere in the park. The sparkling river water reflects this beautiful night view even more enchantingly. With the gentle evening breeze, you can gaze out over the railing and take in the picturesque scenery along the Han River.

Transportation

Dosan Area: Take subway Line 7 and get off at Dosan Park Station. Exit through Exits 2 or 3.

Guangjeon Ferry: Take subway Line 5 or 8 and get off at Cheonho Station. Exit through Exit 1, then walk for 20 minutes.

Yeouido Area: Take subway Line 5 and get off at Yeouinaru Station. Exit through Exit 2 or 3.

Yanghwa Area: Take subway Line 2 and get off at Dangsan Station. Exit through Exit 4, then walk for 10 minutes.

Jamsil Area: Take subway Line 2 or 8 and get off at Jamsil Station. Exit through Exit 5, then walk 800 meters. Alternatively, take Line 2 and get off at Seongnae Station. Exit through Exit 3 or 4, then walk 900 meters. Or take subway Line 2 and get off at Sinnonhyeon Station. Exit through Exit 6, then walk 700 meters.

Chanwon Area: Take subway Line 3 and get off at Sinsa Station. Exit through Exit 5, then walk 1 kilometer / Take subway Line 3 and get off at Apgujeong Station. Exit through Exit 1, then walk 800 meters.

Banpo Area: Take subway Line 3 or 7 and get off at Express Bus Terminal Station. Exit through Exit 5, then walk 800 meters. Or take subway Line 4 and get off at Tongjak Station, then walk 1 kilometer.

Eochon Area: Take the national railroad and get off at Eochon Station. Exit through Exit 4, then walk 600 meters south.

Seonyudo Area: Take subway Line 2 and get off at Dangsan Station. Exit through Exit 1, then walk 1.5 kilometers. Alternatively, take subway Lines 2 or 6 and get off at Hapjeong Station. Exit through Exit 8, then walk 1.5 kilometers. After getting off at Exit 8, take bus 5714 and get off at the main entrance of the park.
