Rongxing Park

Introduction Rongxing Park is situated in the Zhongshan District, within the area bordered by Section 3 of Minquan East Road, Jianguo North Road, Longjiang Road, and Wuchang Street — close to Xingtian Temple. Originally called “Rongxing Garden,” it covers an expansive area of 6.8 hectares. The park’s style is mainly characterized by European-style garden landscaping. It was built in 1968 (the 57th year of the Republic of China) by Ku Wei-fu, who also founded Rongxing Company to manage it. In 1988 (the 78th year of the Republic of China), the Taipei City Government took over the park, making it free and open to the public. It was then officially renamed “Rongxing Park” and underwent renovation in 1990 (the 79th year of the Republic of China). As the first European-style landscaped garden in Taipei, it remains one of the best leisure destinations for locals during holidays. 　 Transport Take bus routes 617, 225, 214, 642, 5, 49, 505, 285, 33, 63, 25, 298, 74, 801, Red 29, Dunhua Trunk Line, or Minquan Trunk Line, and get off at the “Longjiang Intersection” stop to reach Rongxing Park.
