Taipei City Children's Amusement Center

Taipei City Children's Amusement Center is located in Yuanshan District, Taipei City, commonly known as the Children's Amusement Park. Covering an area of approximately 9.8 hectares, it is a rare amusement facility in the city center of Taipei. It was first established in 1934 during the Japanese colonial period and was initially the earliest and only public children's amusement park in Taiwan. After decades of continuous development, it has become one of the largest and most famous children’s amusement parks in Taiwan.

Taipei City Children's Amusement Center can be divided into three main sections: "Yesterday's World," "Tomorrow's World," and "Play World." Among them, Yesterday's World is further divided into the Mythology World Zone, Folk Toys Zone, Folk Crafts Zone, and Folk Culture Zone, providing detailed knowledge about ancient Chinese city walls, siege equipment, the Five Elements and Eight Trigrams, and the Water Curtain Cave. In addition, this area focuses on traditional leisure activities and Chinese toys, offering educational games and static displays of various traditional folk crafts. Tomorrow's World is subdivided into the Space Theater, Children's Science Museum, and Family Scenic Garden. The Space Theater mainly screens 3D natural science films, the Science Exhibition Hall focuses on supporting elementary school science education, and the Family Scenic Garden develops themes for each floor based on everyday topics and familiar subjects.

The Play World is the most popular section of the Children's Amusement Center. Although the rides were originally installed over 20 years ago, they remain affordable, well-maintained, and have undergone multiple renovations. During holidays, visitors often have to queue to use these facilities.
