Yingfeng Riverside Park

Yingfeng Riverside Park is situated along the Keelung River in Taipei City, between Dazhi Bridge and the Zhongshan Expressway, spanning around 600,000 square meters in total. As the largest urban park in Taipei, it offers not only a refreshing environment but also amenities such as badminton courts, inline skating rinks, soccer fields, portable toilets, parking lots, green spaces, and more. It has become a must-visit leisure destination for local residents during weekends and holidays.

Yingfeng Riverside Park was created as part of the river improvement project, transforming a vast stretch of riverside high ground into a landscaped green space. Outside of flood control periods, it serves as an expansive open area for city residents; however, during flood seasons, it remains within the river’s active water channel. Common tree species found in the park include camphor trees, banyan trees, cotton trees, flamboyant trees, and melaleuca trees, while popular flowers include chrysanthemums, geraniums, pansies, kalanchoes, and marigolds. With the changing seasons, visitors can enjoy different views of the park throughout the year. It not only provides urban dwellers with a place to connect with nature but also plays an important role in soil and water conservation and maintaining ecological balance.
