Dajia Riverside Park

Dajia Riverside Park is situated along the Keelung River in Taipei's Zhongshan District, spanning from the west side of Dazhi Bridge to the east side of Zhongshan Bridge. It was established by the Taipei City Government on the Dajia section of the Keelung River following the completion of the river straightening project in the 1990s. Covering an area of about 420,000 square meters and connected to Yingfeng Riverside Park to the east of Dazhi Bridge, the park not only provides residents of Taipei with an extensive waterfront recreation space but also serves to beautify the waterway area.

Dajia Riverside Park features a large musical fountain with a main pool diameter of 125 meters, accompanied by 80 sets of colorful underwater lights. The fountain performs a fixed half-hour show on the hour, and its spectacular water displays never fail to amaze visitors. In addition, the park has an extensive network of bike paths, allowing guests to leisurely explore along the banks of the Keelung River. In the past, the park included various sports facilities such as basketball, tennis, badminton, and softball courts, and there was also a large nearby parking area convenient for visitors driving to the site. Currently, following the conclusion of the 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition, many of the former sports areas have been converted into flower fields or outdoor gardens, and sports equipment is still being readjusted.
