Nanyao Temple

Nanyao Temple is located beside Provincial Highway No. 1 in Taiwan, very close to the city center and easily accessible by transportation. Commonly known as the Changhua Mazu Temple, Nanyao Temple enshrines the Heavenly Holy Mother, or Mazu. On the annual birthday of Mazu, the 23rd day of the third lunar month, up to tens of thousands of worshippers come to offer incense and prayers, creating a lively scene with tables laden with offerings.
