Introduction

Ferry passengers arriving in Cheung Chau will immediately see rows of neatly arranged small buildings and numerous rental booths from holiday homes along the roadside. There are no cars on the island, allowing for leisurely strolls. Located close to the seaside on reclaimed land, Seafront Street is home to many open-air seafood restaurants offering a variety of seafood and shellfish dishes. Walking along the coast, you can see some seafood drying sheds, with salted fish and shrimp paste being local specialties. Ferry operating hours: 1. From Central to Cheung Chau: Monday to Saturday 00:30 to 23:45, Sunday and public holidays 00:30 to 23:55. 2. From Cheung Chau to Central: Monday to Saturday 02:20 to 23:45, Sunday and public holidays 02:20 to 23:30.
