Introduction

Yung Shue Wan is located on the northern side of Lamma Island and is one of the island’s main villages. In recent years, the area has attracted urban residents and expatriates who are drawn to its affordable rents and peaceful rural lifestyle, leading many to relocate here. The main street offers shrimp paste and herbal remedies for sale. In recent years, numerous shops, Western-style cafes, and bars have opened, and holiday villas have been built in the hills. The narrow streets present a unique mix of dried fish stalls, grocery stands, trendy restaurants, and stylish boutiques. At the end of the main street lies the century-old Tin Hau Temple. The most popular nearby beach is Hung Shing Yeh Beach, which boasts clean sand, clear waters, and well-developed facilities.
