The Tatar Mosque is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction The Tatar Mosque is the main place of worship for the city's Uyghur, Tatar, Uzbek, and other ethnic communities, as well as an open mosque in the city. Both domestic and international visitors can enter the mosque for a tour by making prior arrangements, and may also observe Muslim prayers from the back of the prayer hall.

According to Islamic regulations, women are not allowed to enter mosques. However, at the Tatar Mosque, female visitors may be permitted to enter for a tour if they obtain prior consent. The mosque covers an area of over 3,000 square meters, with the prayer hall occupying about 800 square meters. The front porch features many carved and painted pillars, decorated in an ornate style. The prayer hall has four sections, all carpeted, and can accommodate up to a thousand worshippers.
